Dad's Car

1929 Ford Model A. He's had this car longer than he's been married with kids, and yet, it's almost done.

Salt Lake

This last one I saw up on the hill behind the capitol building. How does one lose their shoe in twenty degree weather and a foot of snow?

The Day After

The best part of coming home is visiting old haunts. This is the Bayou. Just us.

My brother makes fun of us because we like to go visit Kensington. He doesn't understand this was our first home.

Joshua's Trees

Apparently I started a new Holiday tradition. It seems when we road trip home for Christmas I become too fascinated with the trees I see along the way.

Over the river and through the woods…

My mom and my grandmother and grandfather.

My grandfather's ceiling in his bedroom. When I was a kid this map scared me. I didn't understand how massive the country was or why I was able to see it while lying on his bed.

Ice Show

Ice shows are kind of strange. It's not quite theater. Not quite figure skating. It exists somewhere in between. Still it has its moments.

Tree

I feel like this tree sometimes.

City of Angels

This is for Matt McLoone who has reminded me repeatedly that I don't shoot enough. Julie and I headed to Anaheim this weekend to see Dane Cook at the Pond. This is LA taken with her point and shoot.
